![]() ![]() It's only practical if you really like your current keyboard and don't have the funds to replace it with a new model-a new soldering iron and switch will cost almost as much as a cheap mechanical keyboard on its own, and that's assuming you don't break your keyboard further during the disassembly process. If not you'll need to contact IVAO support to see how to operate their PTT. ![]() The arrow and function keys will certainly repeat when. ![]() Key repetition is a feature of the keyboard controller and is not limited to typing keys. Favor the function keys to avoid a documentation headache. These might work with IVAO, but that's another matter. Keys.F is the F key on the English keyboard layout but not necessarily the same letter for the key in the same location on the users layout. There is one added by FSUIPC which should be in the assignment drop down: 'PTT on' and 'PTT off'. This is a long, involved process that will be different for each keyboard. There's no Push-To-Talk facility built into flight sim. Obviously this is only an option if you know how to solder electronics, and you'll also need to track down a replacement switch, ideally from the same manufacturer and series as your keyboard already uses. This is standard behaviour for this app for all MIDI devices. To do so you'll need to disassemble your keyboard entirely, de-solder the switch from the PCB, remove it from the plate (if applicable), replace it with a new switch, and solder the new switch in place. It’ll probably be empty of all keys, but as soon as you start pressing keys on your secondary keyboard you’ll see them appearing in SPAD.neXt. The most drastic option, if the above doesn't work or if you have plate-mounted switches, is to completely remove the broken switch and replace it with a new one. ![]()
